Part 4: London - Harry.
Dimly Harry
could hear both Ron and his mother, Molly, as the waves of power
flowed over and through him. All he could do was ride the wave
and try to not drown or lose himself in the sensations that the
power brought. It was like he was connected to every living
thing in the universe.
From the smallest single cell organism to the universe itself.
At the peek of the power wave, he became the universe and the
universe was him. Then the wave crashed and that feeling
disappeared along with the power surge.
As many times before he felt himself falling as darkness claimed
him, but this time instead of falling into darkness he fell into
blue eyes.
The next time he became aware, was a soothing cool cloth wiping
his forehead as Molly’s voice whispered over and over,
“Everything is ok Harry. Ron and I will look after you.”
Harry struggled to open his eyes to see Molly’s worry face
looking down at him with unshed tears in her eyes. The cloth
that she was using was set aside as the woman he consider the
closes thing to a mother he had gently cupped his face with her
hands as she lean down to kiss his forehead. “You scared us
Harry.”
The only think Harry’s muddled mind could offer as a reply was,
“Sorry?”
The tears that Molly tried to keep in check started to fall down
her rosy cheeks, “Nothing to be sorry about, love. The
med-wizards at The Harley Street Clinic will figure out what is
going on. Don’t you worry!”
A gentle hand raised his right hand making Harry turned his head
to see his best mate, Ron looking just as worry. “You listen to
Mum! Those fancy med-wizards here in London will find out what
is going on. You be as good as new. Just wait and see.”
Harry summoned up enough energy to squeeze Ron’s hand before
exhaustion has him close his eyes and surrending to the darkness
once again.
For a few moments after Harry fell back to sleep Ron and his
mother sat at Harry’s side before moving a little ways away.
Needing reassurance that his friend will be all right, Ron
quietly whisper, “Those med-wizards will help Harry, right mum?”
Molly hugged her youngest boy to her, as she whispered, “I hope
so Ron, for Harry’s sake.”
